CORIYANA DAVIS

CEO and Founder

Coriyana Davis is the Founder and CEO of I AM M3 Resource Center & Homeless Shelter. Her journey began in 2022 while working as a youth homelessness case manager, where she witnessed firsthand the systemic barriers that prevent many young girls—particularly girls of color—from accessing critical resources.
Through her work, Coriyana saw how eligibility requirements often exclude youth who are not pregnant, parenting, or survivors of domestic violence—creating impossible choices and leaving many girls without support. As a mother, she was deeply impacted by the reality that young girls may feel pressured to change their circumstances just to receive help. This experience ignited her commitment to remove barriers, not create
them.
Today, Coriyana continues to serve youth as a paraeducator in the Kent School District, staying deeply connected to the needs of young people both inside and
outside the classroom. Kent is where she grew up and attended school, and it is the community that shaped her values and purpose.

Her vision to establish a 24-hour live-in shelter for youth girls in Kent is rooted in her belief that every girl deserves safety, dignity, and opportunity—without conditions.Through I AM M3, Coriyana is dedicated to empowering BIPOC girls by providingaccess to support, mentorship, and resources that help them thrive and rewrite theirstories.
